    You can mimic this by just laying on your back, lifting up your head and looking left to right slowly! No expensive equipment needed. This has fixed and improved my neck issues, so I could see why someone would by this, but a waste of your home gym budget to me.

    I got my Iron Neck about a week ago and loved it. I always believed in having a strong neck with a strong body. I used to do neck exercise using a head harness that I bought at a sport store many years ago. I stopped using weights and started using heavy bends instead, which is a lot safer in more ways than one. So, the Iron Neck in that same category. The Iron Neck is better and more comfortable than using a harness even though, I also recently bought one of Iron Necks harnesses. I'm going to try and figure a way how to use that using bands as an addition with the Iron Neck.

    I get balance issues that feel like vertigo after doing these exercises . Its not immediate but it comes a few hours after. Also, feel a bit of nausea. Do you have any tips? Or is this something that happens when you're first starting out?

    • @feoleb
      @feoleb 3 місяці тому

      when ligaments are strained in the upper cervical spine, and muscles are tired and tendons are strained, all the supporting structures of c1 are looser than normal and allow additional movement. c1 movement is used to affect your balance. Your brain uses that as a metric. So when it moves and your eyes and your head aren't moving it confuses your brain and you get vertigo. If it's slight vertigo I suppose that's ok but be careful. You do not want an injury in that area. Better to do it at a resistance and reps that require effort but don't result in vertigo. Im not an expert with this device but I've been dealing with craniocervical instability for three years.

    Been dealing with C6-C7 herniation and left tricep atrophy on and off for 4 years, I've avoided surgery but I'm down to one more non-surgical treatment that I haven't already tried, if that doesn't work I will get surgery, only have trained about 1 year altogether out of the last 4, I miss the mats

    both versions are way too expensive. everything you can do with this thing, you can do easily with either no equipment or equipment for like only 30 bucks, if you dont want to only use bodyweight. even if this thing was revolutionary. its like only plastic. if you have the money, its great.

    About to order one. 30 years old with severe stenosis in my C6 that has right nerve root impingement and disc bulges from C2-C6. Had multiple bulged discs in my mid-low back and have healed most of them by daily maintenance. Im excited to place the order soon, having to wait due to financial reasons, at the point of charging it onto a card just so I can start my rehabilitation.

      We’re sorry to hear you’re having pain. Some forms of resistance training can mimic some of the benefits in the 3 exercises above, but Iron Neck is the only therapy on the market that trains the neck in 360 degrees. Movements like the 360 spin and variations of the look left look right can’t be done with alternative training methods. If you’re interested, take a look at our pain solutions here. Goods News for you, we’re running a sale 🙂 www.iron-neck.com/pages/pain
